Even the tiniest of seeds possesses the potential for greatness. If given nourishment and care, it can blossom into the mightiest of trees or the most exquisite flower. Much like the growth we see in nature, even the smallest amount of hope can bloom if provided a positive, nurturing environment. At Hope Blooms, we believe everyone has the potential to live a healthy, productive life with the right tools and support. Our goal is to help you focus in on the goals that are important to you while providing you the encouragement and guidance you need to achieve them.
One of the most difficult parts of deciding to start therapy is finding the time to go. Driving to and from appointments can often take longer than the sessions themselves. Hope Blooms, PLLC offers online counseling at your convenience. Whether at night or on the weekends, we are available when you are. Appointments can be made for several different formats of teletherapy. From video sessions to phone calls or messaging, there are many options available to meet your unique needs. Life can be difficult, and everyone deserves to have someone to listen and support them. My goal as a counselor is to help you as you face life's challenges by providing a listening ear, kind words of encouragement, and sometimes even a push to get you past difficult obstacles. Unfortunately, I don't have a magic wand or a quick-fix. However, if you are ready to make some changes, I am ready and willing to be your partner and guide.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, and I have served as a counselor in school and non-profit settings for the past five years. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout the course of my career through both individual and group counseling. My approach is based on Solution-Focused techniques that help to work through issues with an end goal in mind while focusing on the strengths my clients already possess. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral techniques that focus on identifying and improving the negative thinking that sometimes prevents people from moving forward.
My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, major changes in life, and parenting. However, I enjoy the challenge of working with all types of clients. I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you!
"If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change" ~ Wayne Dyer
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas with seven years of experience. I am a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University, where I earned a masters degree in clinical social work. I have worked in a variety of settings including non-profit organizations, schools, and inpatient facilities. I currently work full-time in Fort Worth ISD helping students who are pregnant or parenting find success as they take on the challenge of finishing school. I am also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, where I am able to help a new generation of social workers learn and grow.
I enjoy working with many different clients, but I work most often with those who are experiencing anxiety and depression. I believe my role as a therapist is to help guide you through the process as you learn about yourself, develop your strengths, and take time to care for yourself. I believe all of my clients have the ability to develop the skills they need to live healthier, happier lives. If you are willing to work for it, I will be here to support you every step of the way!

Sometimes it helps to just talk through it with someone who just "gets" your situation. The world of education can be difficult to navigate for parents who may not be familiar with the system, particularly if your child struggles at school. Knowing what to ask for, and how, can make a world of difference when you are seeking specialized services for your child. Whether your child has special needs, is gifted, or qualifies for a 504 Plan, we can help you discuss your child's needs in a way that is both empowering and effective. Appointments by phone and video chat are available. For those residing in the Fort Worth area, in-person meetings can be scheduled. You may also request that a counselor attend meetings with you at your child's school.
We have limited availability for LPC Associates and LMSWs seeking supervision with or without the potential for part-time employment. We are also welcoming graduate students seeking non-paid practicum or internship placements. Please email contact@hopebloomscounseling.com for further information.
Group sessions are an effective and affordable way to address a variety of issues. Groups provide peer support while learning and practicing new skills. Our groups last for 6-8 weeks, depending on the skills being taught. In order for a group to start, we need at least 3 participants, which means there may be a delay until we have enough interest. If you are interested in one of our groups, please take a moment to complete the interest form. Someone will reach out to you when the group is ready to begin. Prior to joining a group, we ask that all participants complete an intake session, so we may get some background information, review group participation expectations, and make sure that the group is a good fit to help meet your goals.
